HomeAway employee, Rakesh recently returned from an amazing trip to the US West Coast cities of Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Here are excerpts from what he had to say about his exciting holiday:
We chose to stay at HomeAway vacation rentals in all the three cities we visited. Not only was the cost of the stay much cheaper than regular hotels, we got to stay in some great properties right in the heart of the city.
Staying at a vacation rental provided great flexibility as well. For example, one of our friends joined us at the last minute in San Francisco, and it was easy for us to accommodate him at the apartment we were staying at. A similar situation would have been difficult to handle if we had chosen to stay in a hotel.
In San Francisco, we took in all the famous sights including the Golden Gate Bridge, the Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier39, Lombard Street, Ghiradelli Square and the offices of Google and Intuit.
Our vacation rental in Los Angeles was located just minutes away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This made our trips to Hollywood, Universal Studios,Warner Bros Studio and the Santa Monica Pier very easy.
The property we were staying in had amazing wi-fi speeds. One of my friends had to work for few hours during our stay in Los Angeles, and internet connectivity was so good that he was even able to deploy code.
The hosts were also very hospitable in all the accommodations and some went to great lengths to keep us comfortable. For instance, it was around 4 am when we reached our Las Vegas vacation rental and our host was waiting for us in the parking lot to hand over the keys.
We did quite a bit of sightseeing on our trip. In Las Vegas we had a good time at The Bellagio, The Mirage, the Vegas Strip and the Stratosphere.
If you are planning a visit to Las Vegas, Los Angeles or San Francisco , I would definitely suggest that you stay at a HomeAway vacation rental. Not only are the prices pocket friendly, but the experience is equally amazing.
